One World Observatory è un punto panoramico in cima al One World Trade Center di New York, uno dei grattacieli più alti del mondo (541 metri). L’Osservatorio ha aperto i battenti nel 2015 e si trova su tre livelli superiori dell’edificio.
Significato e storia
L’identità visiva del One World Observatory è moderna ed elegante. Il suo emblema è davvero iconico e immediatamente riconoscibile. Comprende l’immagine geometrica del One World Trade Center, che mostra la sua parte superiore con un picco sottile ed elegante, rivolto verso il cielo.
Lo stemma è disegnato in due tonalità di blu con dettagli bianchi, che aggiungono volume e vita all’immagine. I suoi angoli acuti sembrano sofisticati ed eleganti.
Il marchio denominativo, che di solito è posizionato sotto l’emblema o alla sua destra, è scritto in un carattere sans-serif geometrico distinto e moderno, simile al carattere geogrottesco. La targhetta utilizza la tonalità di blu più scura dell’emblema.
La tavolozza dei colori del logo ricorda il cielo e la libertà, crea una sensazione fresca e dinamica, evocando un senso di affidabilità e sicurezza allo stesso tempo.
C’è anche una combinazione di colori secondaria, utilizzata per il logo del One World Observatory: grigio scuro con toni più chiari, che sembra elegante e sicuro.
Fourteen years after the terror attack that horrified the world, the new One World Trade Center Tower opened its doors to visitors in May 2015. In fact, it is an entire complex that includes the OWTC building itself (also called the Freedom Tower), the museum, and the 9/11 memorial, in the form of two huge waterfall fountains located on the site of the twin towers. The height of the tower is 417 m. At the very top of this skyscraper, the new One World Observatory was opened. Previously, there were only two vantage points to get a bird’s-eye view of New York City – the Empire State Building and the “Top of the Rock”, which is located at the Rockefeller Center. But One World Observatory beat them both in height and service.
